We had a great time in Gettysburg! It was fun to see some old friends and make new ones. There were a few striking aspects, at least to me, about the professional vehicles there.
I never saw so many horse-drawn hearses at a PCS Meet. Professional cars of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s were well represented, as were the usual decades. It is interesting to note that there was a good number of standard wheelbase cars, including two Studebaker ambulances, a Henney Junior, a National raised-roof ambulance conversion of a Ford wagon and three Pontiac Consorts. There was a large selection of limousines and Pontiac professional cars in attendance. There was not a single Oldsmobile to be found. There were a huge number of top-quality professional cars there.
