Albany photo report!

Daniel, that's fascinating and the H&E sticker verified the fact that it's a genuine S&S flower car. So.....it is possible that the car in Albany is a genuine S&S flower car as well? Is it possible that the car in Albany and the car in your photos are one and the same? It would be interesting to know. Could someone please check to see if the vehicle in Albany has such a sticker on the door jamb and let us know? This woud tell us it this is the same car or if it's another S&S built flower car. It will also help establish how many of these were sold. I woud surmise that there were relatively few.

A little research shows that the S&S Flower Car in the posted pictures was sold to Berkemeyer Limousine and Livery Service, Inc. which was one of the New York metropolitan area’s largest and most respected funeral livery services. Originally established in 1869, Berkemeyer Livery Service was based in New Milford, NJ and has made many acquisitions over the last 30 years. Names that you may be familiar with have included: A. Zabriskie and Stott of Clifton, NJ, Bergen Limousine of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, and Barney-Wolf Livery of Kearny, NJ. All famous names in tri-state funeral service transportation. Now known as BBZ the firm remains one of the leading funeral transportation services in the tri-state area. Interesting. As I said, I wonder if the car in Albany is the same car or yet another one?

Thanks for the pictures!

It is great to see the Meet pictures, especially for those of us unable to attend, so a big thank you to the picture takers. But, I was wondering whether anybody has taken pictures of the attendees, our friends who we get to see so seldom. I hope someone can post some people pictures in addition to the car pictures, please.

Nice pictures Matt! Thanks for sharing them with us. Maybe tomorrow you can show us more faces?

Matt, I wish I could be there having a beer, or two with you in the parking lot, but not this time I guess.

Yea, what he said! Somebody's gotta be sellin' somthin' somewhere.

Somebody was and somebody did buy. I was looking at it and somebody bought it but it was not me so I will let them announce it. You know the seller and buyer but I will let them disclose.

Will do when I get home, Bill. I took several pix of people with their cars.

Thanks Matthew for taking the time to photograph the 1918 Ford Ambulance and all the
details. You took photo's of what I needed. I would like to thank everyone else who
have posted photo's of the meet. Greatly appreciate all the time and effort in order
keep the one's who could not make it to see what was there and the fun time we missed.

Thanks again

Ted
