I should jump at this, but for various reasons right now, I cannot. Does anybody have any ballpark ideas of shipping costs from California to Ohio? ($1000, $2000?) Depending on the price the car sells for, it might be better for me to purchase a western car and pay shipping, compared to a similar car that has been driven in Ohio winters. Just sort of an academic exercise and learning process for me at this time. Thanks.

Give Ronnie Grubbs a call ( the seller) he has shipped lots of cars and probably can get a good rate for you.

Like Kurt, I also love this color combo, and the big plus, it does not have the nasty coachbuilder blue interior! The dent does not appear to be creased, so shouldn't be that much to fix, possibly even without a paint touch up.
 
Having now owned a commercial glass '96, I wouldn't need to own another one! Standard glass coaches in these years is the way to go!

Commercial glass = wind noise and water leaks!!

You have to learn to ignore logic and good judgement...just buy it! :D

The interior is superb! The car is straight. I would drop my kids off at school with this one...take it to the grocery store...etc...

So if your 96 leaks water ,what is the price for a leaky coach. ;)

I'd plan on paying around $1750 to ship a hearse that far. So, factor that into the amount you're spending.

It is a very pretty car. Nice color.

$4500. It just has one spot in the upper right corner of the windshield where it leaks. I store it inside, so only an issue when I wash it. Fixing the problem is on my list......... just not anywhere near the top of my list!
 
That is the price I paid for a enclosed car hauler from WA to MI.
About 1700.00 enclosed.

You may be able to get a open carrier a little cheaper.

I agree with paying more for a rust free frame !!!
Not only the frame but everything else salt eats !

I recommend 4 Corners Transport Services at 360 210 7665, they have done right by me, many times. I have never gotten a lower quote and I have been pleased with their service. You can mention my name, if you like.
