Rare opportunity to acquire 1 of the 30 Superior Transport ambulances produced between 1977-1979, when passenger car based ambulance ceased to be produced for good by the big three. This is the fourteenth Transport produced (fourth produced in 1978), and was made for Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Narberth of Narberth, PA. History is partially known, having spent about 1/3 its life in PA, and the rest in AL and GA beginning in the 90's. Current location is outside Atlanta. First photo is as original, and others are current. Car is in very good shape for its age and given its original purpose. Largely complete and solid. Will run and move under its own power, but not shifting through gears as it should. Reason unknown. Note also, this is 1 of 2 Superior Transport ambulances built in an asymmetrical design, whereas the rear sides are a window on the squad bench side and landau panel on the patient side. Will only entertain offers of five digits, so please don't waste my time saying you want it for a few thousand. Will entertain trades for other unique professional cars. PM if genuinely interested in purchasing, and I will relay details and additional photos.
