GREAT!!! Rig I vote NO on the hood not a good spot center front roof is the place thats where they have been on every Mars light equipped ambulance I have had. Second point you may have issues with law enforcement (blocking vision) around here ANY light in the middle of the hood will get you stopped. Third point hood may crack around mounting due to weight and no reinforcement.
 
If you want more forward facing light, you could install a red sealed beam (4001R) in the driver's spotlight housing. Then, install a passenger side spotlight with the clear bulb. A simple, steady-burn red is very effective.
 
Changed my mind, now that I have heard the pros and cons of were to place it I suggest you sell it to Len for display on the light wall at the museum,your unit looks great just the way it is and stood out at Joe jr's funeral for which we can not thank you enough.:thumbsup:
