Well it is 4 days away, till i get to head to ohio to pic up the new coach. Im really looking forward to meeting some of the ohio crew and hanging out with Dwayne again:and if the weather is well i hope to see some of the cars.:drive2: I will be ready- i hope ohio is. Now all i have to deal with is some lost sleep in anticipation.

Getting ready for your visit as we speak! The yard got mowed (first window between storms in a while... but windy) and cleaning the shop later today so it looks as presentable as it can for everyone. The Chevy-Pinner is sitting pretty for viewing, the ambulance is itching to come outside, and there's a couple hearses wanting to come out too! The grill has new burners & grease shield... ready to WORK. Getting excited to see everyone and we're supposed to have no rain.

P.S. here is what you'll be looking for, the building is right on a city street amongst several houses. Pull in the drive... procars to the left on an angle, regular cars towards the back please.

Barring some unforseen diasaster Barb and I will be there. I'm not sure if I made arrangements early enough with Zach's social secretary (that would be Mommy) to get him or not.

I plan on being there as well. I won't be driving a Pro-car, but I will be there anyway! I can't wait to meet everyone I see on here, but don't know in person. Have safe trips everyone and see you Saturday!

right here

Rocky,
Don't fret, Ohio has been right here since 1803. Looking forward to seeing you Saturday. Dwayne says he has arranged good weather for us.

Not Sure on What Car????????????

Well I wanted to bring Jim's 64 BUT today the body man called and the 64 is going into the body shop. The Pinner is out as it needs tires, the Olds is still at the mechanics. So it will be between the Poncho and and 54" that will make the trip.

nice to have a few choices Chief, most people would have run out of cars with that happening. I will be looking forward to see what ever you bring. Thanks

Looking forward to seeing everyone! Not sure if Patty will make it. I haven't had a chance to get her out for the season yet, but I'll be there either way.

Should be interesting, just fixed a bunch of stuff on the ambulance in the off season, but we've had so much rain I haven't had an opportunity for a test drive. Oh well, if I break down at least I know there will be a pit crew no less than 40 miles away...

Sharon and I will show up in a big bronze '77 Lincoln, that, while not technically a Pro Car, actually outweighs the '92 Cad coach that Rocky is coming to retrieve: 5,100 lbs vs. 4,600 lbs. Hard to believe, eh? Let's see, how much is gas going for today? Hmmmmmm..........Just the time to motor about in a 2 and 1/2 ton rig. Right.

First time to a Pro-car event

I'll be trying to drive the '63 cadillac out. If we make it. this will be my first time to a pro-car event, so please be kind to the new guy

Well the clouds & rain left (until sunday) and there's this THING called the SUN shining in the sky today :thumb: NO RAIN SATURDAY!!!

Got the water turned on in the shop this morning, only casualty was a broken toilet in the shop bathroom that had frozen. Just picked up all the parts to fix it so we'll have 2 bathrooms for the cookout. This afternoon there's 4 coaches to wash... whew, makes me tired just thinking about it.

Rocky, sure hope your flight is on time! We'll be flying low to make it north before guests start arriving. My daughter will be here to greet any & all early arrivals... no worries.

Herb, of course we'll be kind to you! Time is flying quick, last minute prep to do so i'm outa here until tonight. If anyone gets lost my cell # is (740) 360-3940 looking forward so much to seeing everyone who makes it

Dwayne....I wish I could be there. But, as I said, you're a class act. Have a great day tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you guys.

I am getting so excited to meet all of you and see your cars. I thrilled to hear that mother nature will be good to us. It is not looking so promising here in wisconsin. Today is the first in a long time that i woke up to the sun shinning- and it is sticking around for the day. Everyone drive safe and again i cant wait to see you. And Dwayne thanks for all the hard work and being a shuttle service for me.:071::cheers::festive:
