1996 Eagle

Great looker, but a blue interior? Wonder who's idea that color scheme was. Was it originally black or a shade of blue?

I'm so glad you posted interior pictured of the loading area (not sure the appropriate term.) I've always wondered if flower cars have casket-carrying capabilities. It looks like stainless steel? Very cool... I like the contrasting industrial look and sterility of the inside versus the elegance of a luxury car intended to carry flowers. I agree that the cabin interior color doesn't suit the exterior of the car, but that was such a theme of vehicle interiors throughout my formative years, so it doesn't phase me much. I owned an orange AMC Hornet with a brown vinyl top and multi-colored plaid interior. Such were the cars of the past.

Dan,
So what's the story on the Dodge A-100 pickup?? You've got all the cool toys!

Been, looking for one for a few years and they just do not seem to pop up in any decent condition. This is what I was looking for 318 and auto. Guy had 5 of them for sale only two where pretty decent and this was the best of those two. Guy had plans to make a Deora and if you know any background on that custom it is more than just a few cuts to a A-100. He gave up on that idea and sold off the trucks.

A quick look shows no repaint once I dig a little deeper maybe I can confirm a color change. I think it is victim of the blue material that we have a ton of and will sell it cheap. On the lookout for a darker interior for it .

Dan,
Swapping out the seat with a blue leather seat would probably help. My '96 Masterpiece has the blue leather and it does look better than the cloth.

Let me know if you need any parts for your A-100. I know of several in salvage yards.

It may have been owned by the Harrison and Ross Mortuary in Los Angeles. I know that their fleet always contained flower cars and that this looks a lot like their fleet colors. Harrison and Ross has a huge operation on Firestone Blvd.

Why even bother with a rear window? :confused2: I mean, it looks ok, but its a custom piece of curved glass you'll never find again if broken, is probably hard to clean, and can't possibly be providing any additional use or value. Thought maybe it was a vinyl-clad trim piece to match the top, which would make more sense, but I see the reflections in the glass in the first pics.

Just consider it a sky light!

It was there from 99-2014. 96-99 is still a blank looking for info on those years.

That is a astro light :p you can see nothing but the stars . It does help to keep the inside from being like a cave.

Elmo

The Gold color on your car looks very similar to LeeAnn Boston's 94 S&S 6-Door Limo-Elmo... Although I think your car may be a shade or two lighter...anyways, you have a gorgeous car!!! I've always been a sucker for gold!!!!!!
