1996 Eagle

96

Some pics of the 96 , in storage at the moment when the 63 Flxible is picked up  and shipped I can bring this home:) and do some clean up and some TLC it needs. I know history from 99-2014 but the first 3 years are a mystery . Talked to Eagle to see if they know and I am awaiting a answer from them. The 2nd owners had no knowledge either . So if any one knows of the original owners of this I would appreciate any info .Thanks

I'm willing to bet it originally belonged to a black funeral home up east due to the color combination. Often times (not always but the majority of times) black funeral homes are the only funeral homes willing to operate a fleet of vehicles with such a unique colors like this. I personally think the color on this car sets it apart from the standard black or white and therefor it really looks nice.

I would start to research funeral homes that operated such a color in their fleets during 1996 and that will at least help narrow it down. When you hear from Eagle please let us know, and congratulations on such a nice car!

Dan,
You will have to get Ken Novak to drive his '73 Superior flower car up for a photo shoot, since both cars are gold with black vinyl roofs!

Dan, what a great find. I was a partner in a firm near Atlanta in the 70,80,90's who operated this color cars, it set us apart. :applause:

That sure looks like a Thompson Hall & Jordan car out of Cincinnati...

Tom Kutis in St Louis uses a lighter gold, and I seem to recall that the tops are gold on his livery.

gold too

My coach was purportedly from Colonial Funeral homes ? in Oakland, Calif. and is similar, it was originally a lighter gold but repainted the darker colour at some time. You never know..

( but mine is a 74 so I do not know what happened in those in between years )

Did a quick cleanup , and inventory of some needed items. Found the front chrome fenders strips that are about impossible to find and a fuse cover all NOS, from a couple of great friends. Rear and front impact strips still available from Gm on order. Needs some TLC but pretty darn nice for pushing almost 20. The blue interior I thought has to go but not as bad as I thought might change to black or something else or just leave it as is. Still looking for info on the first 3 years of where it was . If anyone has any ideas on that please let me know .Thanks :)

Would love it, but my 73 Superior Coupe De Fleur is gold with a gold vinyl top, and my 1999 Eagle Flower car is black with a gold vinyl top...

But you should still try to get the 3 of them together at the same time for a photo op!! That would make for an awesome shot!!
