An interesting article can be found here showing a road test of a rescue squad's Lifeliner. An amusing story, but I highly doubt that the coach used to serve as a heads as the article states.

I find it amusing when they have to hipe it so. the boys better get that one tuned up 10 to 11 would be normal MPG. try getting 4 in your box! put some new springs under it and then see if it doesn't handle better then your van.
but it shows some one has been taking care of there rig. sharp looking parade car.

That should have read hearse, not heads. That's what I get for not proofreading!

I was at the EMS Today conference in DC this week, and several people metioned this ambulance. It's always nice when one or another catches people's attention!

Great article, though I could have done without the continual Ecto-1 references.
