This car has been sitting at this address for quite some time. I retired in 2009, and it was there at least a year or so before I retired. I was assigned to a heavy rescue squad, and I used to see it over the fence/shrubs when going on calls in that area. I did stop one day and speak with what I believed to be the owner, and he didn't seem to want to sell it or offer up much information. That I know of for certain, it has sat in the elements for at least 6 years.
Is it this one? Sorry to resurrect an old thread but the way you described seeing it is exactly how I found it.

Well, if he is referring to mine, it was parked off of Bopp Rd on the Southwest side of Tucson, exactly how he described it, visible over the fence. Its 1970 Olds 98, and now its in my backyard Trying to get signs of life right now, I'll be installing new solenoids this weekend and trying to get under it to check the starter.
