So I need to replace my Alternator, I have a 1970 Oldsmobile 98 CB. What do you guys recommend for Amps? I don't have an excessive amount of sirens/lights, and have one converter.

Can we just pull up a minute?
That alternator is one of the easiest to rebuild ever made.

Generally the "failure" is either bearings or the diode pack. Other than getting your hands on the diode pack, my source dried up but there are sources on the internet.

So I finally had time to dive into the 70 Oldsmobile Ninety eight ambulance, and the amimal damage to the wiring is worse than originally thought. Any recommendations for picking up a wiring harness for the engine that might work? Thanks a ton
