[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] 1968 Chevrolet 3 door Suburban Miller-Meteor Ambulance. I traded for this truck a few years ago, I always thought this vehicle would make a cool street rod. I wanted to lower it and tub out the back , I just don't have the time. It is an extremely rare vehicle. I was told only 20 of these where produced in 68 and from the serial number, mine was #8. Have you seen one of these lately? It is all original as far as I know, 307 with 2speed auto. Very sound truck, doors open and close tight as they should. All rubber around the doors and windows is in good shape, only rust I have seen is in the firewall. The bottom of the seat has some tears and the head liner in the "paitent " area needs to be repaired. I can send additional photos if you have an interest. I drove it home and it has sat here for 2 years now, I'm sure it would crank with a hot battery and fresh fuel. It was sold new to Floyd County Rescue, Floyd county (Rome) GA. Would make a great project for street rod or as an original.

I have posted more pictures of the interior that shows the storage compartments and the headliner that needs repaired. the headliner doesn't look to be torn, it loos like someone has cut the threads to remove the revolving light ( which I do not have). The photo of the rust at the firewall is the worst rust I can find, there is some in the firewall at the driver side, but not as much.

I don't recall a 307 and a power glided in them though. from the pictures it looks like only the squad bench is missing
