1956 Superior Cadillac in Chstn SC

they may have higher then normal expectations on that one. lots of problems on the interior and they forgot a few things out side. that and the engine swap kind of kills the high dollar value.

My two cents. The interior someone wasted a lot of money gets the poor taste award. However the motor and trans swap is a winner if you want to use the coach. The 56 Cadillac transmissions were awful at best and motors cracked heads so much heads were a premium item in the day. No going to sell for the $$$ desired in my opinion. But if you are a FD and want a vintage coach for service today this ones not going to quit while on the job. Sure stands tall from the outside.

just a chuckle as every engine has there problems. your in the business you get to see the trend. but of course if they all were bad you could not have sold one used.;) small block Chevy small block ford or Chrysler were all dependable engines that would give years of service poorly maintained. but it has always been my thought that if you wanted one, buy a car with one in it. the money spent doing a engine swap would be better spend over hauling the one you have. or in this case if your going to do a swap for reliability and better performance why the not go to the 472 in it. it's smaller in size, lighter in weight and has way more power then a small block Chevy on the bottom end were you need it.

when I hear small block Chevy all I can think of is is cheap hot rod. so you get to inherit some one else's cobble.
