Excellent mechanical condition. Lights and siren in working order. Original 216 motor with 3 speed manual transmission. New wheels and tires. Recent paint...all chrome and stainless has been refinished. Original gurney included. New carberator...distributor ...sparkplugs... and wires. ... no rust anywhere on this car. Very rare Chevy sedan delivery ambulance with very rare 4 corner tunnel lights.. I will help with shipping.

I don't understand why you would keep it stock on the outside and deviate so much on the interior?? I couldn't deal with that interior. It would all need to come out and get re-done.

Looks like interior guy was a good salesman. Cost the same or more to do it wrong as it would have to do it right. That interior was bottom of the line cheap when new. UGGH

You always have a problem with interiers. The upholstery guys just can't do a stock one. But the custom touches on the out side are back to what the builder would like if GM would just built it. Chrome welting on the rear fenders the sun visor and winged hood ornament. The only one that confuses me is the square patch stone guard on the front fender. That and the tint on the back glass was unnessary. You would play heck getting one to this condition for the money. This car would slide right into most of the car shows around. All you would get teased for was the 6 banger.

The upholstery isn't the worst part of the interior! It's that red dash and steering wheel! You can't blame the upholsterer for that!

I could live with it, matter of fact, I like it. If the price was right, I would love to have it. I would have to convert it to automatic, so Lucille could drive it.

I am with you Bill. Very cool body style. I would have liked to see some rear compartment pics (I am not a Facebook person, so may be missing them). The dashboard is pretty bright, but that could be changed. I hope it finds a good home.

I went to take a, look only 10 minutes from me. The back is not finished and the owner is not sure to finish it the way he would or let the next buyer to decide it. I have his contact # if anyone wants it ,PM me. He is open to trades also . He is open to offers .

The passengers seat was to lift out and be placed behind the drivers seat. Side ways. The Gurnie went in on the right and the head end up into were the seat would have been to close the door on the standard wheel base cars. The side panels went stright down there were no wheel well covers. With out the origional seats you could not make it work. Once you destroy the interior you have lost the car.

It's amazing how the car works. As small as the were. I have only see pictures. Some would just flip the seat facing it backwards then the head would be in your chest. The nice part about the chevy is you could buy a origional interier from the filling station. If you had the origional seats. I got my rubber rug for the pontiac from them.

Very unfortunate, as it is a rare desirable car if redone correctly.
Sometimes it seems restorers want to call it a vintage ambulance, but not make it back into a vintage ambulance.

Much easier to do a use to be hot rod. My guess is that if you could find a set of origional bucket seats and did the work your self another 5 grand might finish the car. 10 if you have someone else do it.

See they forgot to tilt the passengers seat a couple times. By the hook you can see the front wheels are all most over the floor.
