Since you have to start somewhere, there is not better place than at the table.

Was sitting in a shed since 1972 and was 4-6" in the mud. Resulting in the birch being eaten away.

All the chrome parts are removed in preparation for wood working. The Eureka table crown is one heavy piece!

couple of screws will not let go. I have already spoke to a couple of carpenters who will help recreate the lamanent pieces of birch back together, they are all cut lengthwise the entire long way of the table, about 1 inch wide. once the top and bottom layers are removed from the wood, it should be no problem to glue new pieces back and make the cutouts.

Interesting restoration. Almost had one at a salvage yard. Lady said she couldnt sell it, so she gave it to a friend who used it as a coffee table.
