Angeled Siren Mounts

While at Danny's we studied his angled siren mounts for quite some time. We pretty determined that had to be right side mounts too since both were at a funny angle.
So Doug, I suggest you get a right side from John and use it. If you look at Brady's Lifeliner he used two right sides and it looks fine.

like I said you see them put one ever which way. to me this set is backwards.
if you changed the then the cones would point straightforward and the bases with stand up straight. the you see a lot like this with the cones pointed left and right. some with bases straight some leaning like these. so it's anyone's guess how they should go. one of those nursing home things again.

Once we started looking at them pretty close, we became confused as to what was what.

You are correct

on the set up that was first on your lifliner. I would have put one cone between the air horns. just for balance. the ears sticking out were what made the car look funny.

I would have left the air horns, but that's just me. They would really move some traffic. They make you want to throw up if you're standing right in front of them when someone honks them.

So Richard, did you have an air tank and compressor on that rig somewhere too, or was it already gone when you got it? (an air tank for the horns, not an O2 tank.)

I'm surprised the windshield didn't crack when it was on that tow truck, unless you were dragging it out with all four wheels on the ground. I've always heard never to tow the stretched chassis cars by the bumpers, possibly not even by the wheels, although I don't see what difference that would make. Definitely not by the bumpers on a sling.

It had compressors located behind the front seat for the air horns, one per horn. Both compressors were froze up. The tow truck actually grabbed it by the rear wheels. worked out nice.
