I am looking for some ideas for a period correct first in and ALS kit / box for my 54XL. Target time period late 70s, mid 80s.

Here's what I had in my 1973 Lifeliner. I found the box on ebay and I already had the gear to go into it. Let me know if there are specific supply items you are looking for as I have duplicates of alot of stuff.

Yes.

Dave Henry's idea of using an old TV repair box is a good one. If you are searching online also try searching a "Knickerbocker" case. These were typically used in sports medicine and came in different styles and configurations.

And then there's the Dynamed ALS Box that was popular in the early 80"s. Came in Blue or Orange. Here's one I have in my collection (complete with most of the era correct contents)
