Looking for info: S&S Parklane Hearse

Yes, they did! This car is begging for folding rear seats, rear heat-A/C, a big alternator, a PA-300, and a 184H-D.

Exactly my thoughts, Steve! It's fun to imagine "what if..." the passenger car-based ambulances hadn't been forced out by the 1970s regs. Combos and hightops based on these Lincolns and the rwd 90s Fleetwoods might be plying the roads today. If the market for these was strong maybe Ford and GM would still be producing a domestic rwd platform. mmmmmmmmmm :D Having seen the W&D Park Lane in person, it is indeed a beautiful car.

a heartbreaker, probably missed a good one...

A dealer listed a "1997 S & S Victoria limousine style Lincoln hearse, black, 42,000 miles" in an ad...
I called the dealer and he said he had sold it and a '97 Masterpiece to a buyer in SANTO DOMINGO... and they had been "boxed" and where ready for shipment.
I assumed he meant he had an S & S Park Lane, and not a Victoria...
Too bad, he didn't put on their website which I check often, and finally listed in the Y.B. News and by then it was destined for Santo Domingo...
Gosh...
