You Just Never Know!

Interesting chain of events today at dealership. We sold a super nice 99 caddy S&S Masterpiece hearse to a funeral home in Alabama and they came over to pick it up today. THe car was kinda a medium blue but they said their fleet was that color so we were glad they were not going to change original color and I mentioned my 70 combo being that color and coming from a funeral home in Carrollton, Ga. new and one of the guys ask if I had a picture of the car which I did and he sat there a minute and said that he came from Carrollton originally and they used this funeral home to bury his dad when he died and the kicker is he said they used this same car for the funeral. WOW! figure odds of this story coming out and then I said the car had carried my dad when he passed also. We had a good hug and off they went with their new purchase. Funny how things come around like that.:657:

Great story Danny, I never knew that was the car that took your Dad.

Neet story, its amazing how many people have ben to my house and told me that my Superior was used for either one of there parents, grand pairents, or another family members funeral, and they remember the car very well. Kinda cool.

That's great. And that's why I am a proponent of leaving/restoring a car as original. Folks do have a deep committment to these vehicles, more-so than for the average family sedan.
