The area where our server is located was hit by a bad electrical storm on Saturday, which created some data base error problems. We then shut the system down, and ran some corrective measures. Unfortunately, not all was well, since I got a message from Dean Wilkinson that he couldn't get onto the website. I checked and found that his registration information was gone from the site. When this happens, the posts show up as a "guest" in the threads. Since we don't allow guests to post, I knew that there was a bigger problem. I shut the site down Saturday mid afternoon since I knew that all posts that were made after the Saturday morning restore point would be lost, and I wanted to preserve as much of the forums as possible. All should be well now, and unless I find any additional data base errors, I believe that we should be fine. I spent the rest of Saturday afternoon and evening reading old posts looking for any errors or corrupted threads. If you notice any issues with your account, please let me know.... If you notice any names that are listed as "Guest", please advise me where you find them, so I can get these people reregistered...
