Woodward Dream Cruise

I was looking at my friend's website. It's a website for car show pictures. While I was looking I found two ambulances. I don't know if they are owned by a PCS members. Here are the links,
Ambulette
67 ambulance
Here is a link to the whole page, there are a couple of fire trucks and police cars on it.

The word "ambulette" is not a generic term for a little ambulance. I realize you got it from the picture of Dave's car, it's really his mistake, not your's.

To be clear to all, an “Ambulet” is a product of the Studebaker corporation, as shown below. Though I have never seen this written, I think the name was derived more from the term "amulet", which means "an object that protects a person from trouble", not so much from "small ambulance".

An “Ambulette” (same pronunciation) is a van that can carry a stretcher patient but does not provide medical care, and doesn’t have lights/sirens. Many cities have companies that provide ambulette service, but which are not licensed as ambulances, and the term "ambulette" is usually defined in the regulations.

This is a short-wheelbase ambulance. In the South, they were referred to generically as “Hotshots”.

Not to knock you, Josh, just to teach you.

And I was worried I would get the other ambulance year wrong. Yes, I just copied what was on the name plate.
What's the deal with the green headlight? I don't think I have ever seen a green one on an ambulance. Is red and green a Michigan ambulance colors?

Red & Green Lens

No red and green colored lights are not a Michigan thing, but rather an Illinois thing. If you checkout most fire apparatus from the city of Chicago you will find a green light on the passengers side of the vehicle.

The Superior ambulance now based in Michigan originally came from Illinois.

Red on the left (port) and green on the right (starboard) is also a boat thing, although on boats I think it's more so you can tell if a boat is coming towards you or not in the dark. Probably not as much of an issue with the ambulance...

It is also an airplane thing, so you can tell if a plane is flying (or taxiing) toward you or away.
