Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in."
After starting my EMS career in 1973 and retiring in 2005, I am returning to EMS. Monday November 15, 2010 I started with Midwest Medical Transport Company as their Business Development Manager. My office will be in Lincoln and I will be working to develop relationships with rural ambulance services, hospitals and medical directors in central Nebraska. My primary respnsibility is with Midwest MedAir, the helicopter services stationed in North Platte. To my surprise, a lot of the people I worked with in central Nebraska when I was with State EMS Program are still there and active.
I still work part time as a funeral associate working funerals and doing first calls.
