Let me know if any additional info will help. Thanks guys

not a lot of intrest in a 4 door caprice. that was what it started out as. it was a nice conversion at one time.

Nothing more than a cut down station wagon. Note the wagon taillamps. And because our interest in in professional cars, we naturally tend to associate cars that look like this with flower cars. Maybe the creator of this vehicle was just attempting to make a big, moderm ElCamino. I wouldn't automotically assume that it is or ever was a flower car.

Very true. He did say he got t from a funeral home that used it to carry flowers. Still not to say it isnt home made.

You have to remember that alot of flwer cars were built in a local garage, not much work to making one. It very well may have been a flower car for a funeral home, possibly to match a Chevy hearse. I like it, but would change it back to something that would be seen in a procession. Do you know what year it is? I know its a 91-96. As others have said you can tell it was a wagon from the tail lights.

I believe the conversion company is Back Yard Hack Jobs. It genuinely amuses me how when I'm talking to someone about pro-cars and mention "flower car", I have to explain what one is, and yet every Johnny Six Pack who takes a Sawz-All to a wagon or sedan now has a flower car. I don't get it. People either know what one is or they don't.

I will say that if it is a backyard hack job, its pretty good. I personally dont care for short wheel base procars. But after seeing the interior and tail gate, how the passenger rear door was deleted, it was kinda nice. Im really kicking myself for not snapping more pics. But i didnt want to just jump in his car and start snapping like a photo shoot! Haha im just not that kinda person.

We may never know...its tagged in jersey if anyone catches it!

Definitely a cut down wagon probably a 94 - I know cause I did one and still run it - mine has an adjustable stainless bed, a boot and can be used for removals - nice job on this one for the rear roof line - certainly as much a "pro car" as a McLain or Metropolitan

Do you have any pics, I would love to see it.

the wagon flower car

Another clue to this being a wagon is the rear wheel cut outs. Wagon tail lights and the low profile cut outs say wagon body. The 91 and 92 Chevy sedans also had low long wheel well cut outs. The 93 and up sedans had the higher wheel well cut outs to where the whole wheel was visible. the 93 and up wagons retained the low wheel well cut outs.

Good eye! I dont know that i would have caught that myself. A quick google search confirms these facts. At least its a start to figure out what it started life as.
