The Ohio Chapter Picnic is Sunday at my house (See Events Section) just trying to get a rough head count before I go to the grocery store. I am currently planning on 30-50 based on early indications. I am just checking to see if there are anymore I don't know about. Don't want to run out of food ya know.
 
If you were at the Albany meet... you know what Ron is like when you run out of food (or eggs) !

NOT A HAPPY GUY !!!

Please advise if you are going to the picnic this Sunday, or you may end up in handcuffs !

My chauffeur is going to be bringing me. Save me a handicapped parking spot. Lol

Is there anything that picnic attendees should bring? Chairs, drinks, sides or desserts? See you Sunday!

1. Yourselves
2. We have some chairs, if you got a comfortable one bring it, if you forget it we got ya covered.
3. Bring your coach, it should be a great photo op. If it isn't running, don't worry and see #1.
4. We are providing burgers, brats, buns,dogs,beans, macaroni salad,chips, dip,pop,water and coffee.
Feel free to bring your specialty, a favorite salad or dessert. If you forget it, see #1.
 
I am hoping to make it,but I'm having a trailer issue. My mercury is nearly 80" wide and the trailer is 77" between the upper rails. If I can modify the trailer I will be there. If I can't make it maybe I will see a few of.you at my lodges car show 9/21 in Wintersville Ohio.

I hope you can make it, I really want to see that Mercury. If it doesn't work out you can still come without the car.
 
Calling Out the Streets

Russell hasn't posted yet. One would think :rolleyes: one would want to bring his coach out and show it off, especially back at it's old home, especially if he was looking for a resuscitator for his old jalopy? :confused:
 
Ron, we will be bringing a watermelon and an Oriental pasta salad. Let me know if that works for you. I am making pumpkin bread tonight and I can bring a loaf of that if you need it. Let me know.

Sarah, I am a personal big fan of pumpkin bread. Also we are picking up some bocca or garden burgers too for our vegan friends.
 
Sorry for the delay....

I got in late last night from the east coast. I had to pick up a load that delivers very early Monday morning which will require me to get to bed very early Sunday evening. So, the answer is NO Barb and I will not be attending. Damn work has a nasty habit of getting in the way of our fun!!!!! The good news is that we are working, and making money so that we can afford our "toys".

As much as we'd love to bring the '64 down there, the logistics of it all dictate otherwise.

We'll have to make it some other time. Have fun and enjoy yourselves.

All Systems Go

Just sat down for the first time today. Grass is mowed, garage clean, macaroni salad and beans made. Everything set up to go in place. Will start early in morning positioning cars, setting up tables and chairs and icing down pop and water.
 
I am sure we are all going to appreciate all of your hard work, Ron. Brownies and chocolate chip cookies are made, and the car is all waxed and cleaned up for its trip :D See ya tomorrow!
