Where's Richard?

Haven't seen Richard Vyse on here today. Can't wait to see the pictures you took at the car show you and Bill Wright went to over the weekend.

I have the pictures and a couple videos of the event with my main man Bill Wright driving his ambulance. Never saw such a smile in my life.

I have to say I'm a bit dissappointed with the PCS at this moment. I received a call friday that several members have complained that I (Richard Vyse) post too many times on this site and felt I needed to stop doing so and that I was too enthusiast. It was also mentioned that I was trying to win the John Keel Award for a second time. You can imagine just how upsetting this can be and have kept off the site all weekend. I now know how Rick, Brady, and Paul felt when they were targeted to be evicted from the PCS except they knew who there attacker was where as I do not. I thought hard and long about just resigning over the whole mess but, after discussing with several members I have decided that the members who do not like my postings can simply not read them and I will continue to be the Florida Chapter's president and post whatever and whenever I like as long as it stays within the confines of the PCS rules. :argue:

Aren't all your postings, enthusiasm, and love for the PCS what the John Keel Award is all about? If John were alive today, he would have double the postings you do. Keep posting. Love the pictures and videos. Don't let these few get you discouraged.

Keep it up!

Enthusiasm should never be discouraged...keep posting:thumb:

People are free to read or not read the posts...they can filter what they want. You've been the spark of many a good discussion so keep it up:thankyou2:

Bill

I believe that the John Keel Award is given on the basis of "youthful enthusiasm". I really think that Richard shows his youthful enthusiam very well.

A lot of posts? Sure, Richard, you have your share, but they have all turned into good conversations about professional cars. Isn't that what we are all here about? Talking about the cars.

It really amazes me that anyone would complain about someone making too many posts. I think that we need more actually. I stop in here at least once a day and there are some days that there are only one or two new threads. Not much to read if you ask me. I really like it when I stop by and there are 10 or 12 or more new threads to read. It doesn't matter to me who started the threads to me.

Richard, you make as many posts and start as many new threads as you want as far as I am concerned! You said it best... "I have decided that the members who do not like my postings can simply not read them and I will continue to be the Florida Chapter's president and post whatever and whenever I like as long as it stays within the confines of the PCS rules." Keep them coming!

Too enthusiastic? That sounds like a compliment to me. Thank you Richard for every one of your posts to this site. Aside from the nice features and fine administration of the site, new posts are what keep members coming back. If someone has a complaint, let him/her give it legitimacy by owning up to it in public. Otherwise, forget about it (them) and go on having fun.

Postings

I am not a member of the PCS, but belong to this message board. I find what you post intersting and I like the videos that you post. If people don't like what you post, then perhaps they should step forward and post their stuff.

Keep going Richard! I enjoy reading your posts and the photos. Although I must admit when I look at how much fun you have with your cars YEAR ROUND I get jealous. Antique ambulances and warm Florida sun your a lucky guy!:thankyou2:

Richard, keep going!! I don't post much but visit the site numerous times a day. Your posts keep it interesting and fun. There are some boards I go to where it may go for a few days without new posts - Boring....... I'm an early 50s ambulance guy and don't know much about the late 60s and 70s ambulances but I have learned alot from your postings, as well as others, about these vehicles (I now certainly know how hard it is to find certain bumpers :) ) Don't let the comments keep you from posting or being involved in PCS. Someone don't like it let them manup to your face and deal with it. This is a great site made up of people from all backgrounds, life paths, etc. and it is, in a way, a family as proven by the recent case of Kent's wife (and you just happen to be the ADD kid of the family :yum:).
So keep the posts coming and making my day. Hopefully, one day I'll meet all the players, you being among them.
Regards & Respect, Joe

Richard, your a prime example of what the PCS is all about. I log on every day and one of the first things I think of, is wonder what Richard's got for us today. When things are slow around here, we know we can always count on you for interesting conversation. In my eyes, your one of the people that keep this site going. I know I speek for a lot of people when I say I look forward to seeing what new things you have to post and talk about every day. Thanks for doing what you do, and keep it up.

Josh

Richard...Don't you DARE let the peanut gallery get you down. Though we've never met I consider you to be a friend and am envious of your "Baby's" and of course your locale. As a long time Nascar fan I can't imagine being next dooe to Daytona AND having two Pro-cars in residence.

Looking forward to that Suite for Speedweeks in the future..:applause::wtf:

Don't let em bring you down!

Richard, I also want to thank you for your many posts! Your "youthful enthusiasm" is much appreciated. Obviously, others agree that it keeps us all going.
:thankyou2:

For those who have complaints about your postings... just tell them "don't bring me down". (Hope you like ELO ;))

I have to admit that I don't read all the post that Richard writes. The reason is, I have already read them on another site :bonk:. I can say that I don't get tired of seeing his ambulances or reading his posts. If more members had half the enthusiasm, there wouldn't be enough time in a day to read all the posts.

Hey Richard: This is the first time I have posted on this forum. I admire your enthusiasm and your Professional cars. Keep up with what you are doing! I enjoy hearing from someone that has your interest and drive.

You do not know how much this means to me. I know I can get a bit carried away at times and appreciate the support very much.
Just another reason why "I love the PCS".
