what you think

I dropped the 68 off and had Rick's auto put the front A bushings in and the motor mounts on. they were just dropping the car down off the hoist. they said we need to set the camber but I said don't bother. they don't look to bad to me. think the last guy that aligned the car should have replaced the bushing .

surprisingly enough it did. we are riding on the out side edge. I'm going to change the strut bushings and Rick's doesn't do alignments so as soon as that gets done it's off the get them back up straight. but it shows how far they were off. the last man that set them has them moved out as far as they can go to compensate for the worn bushings. but the 3 blocks home it was solid not like the boat in water it has been . the wheel is off center a 1/4 turn though.

This is coming up on a year now, and I am still wondering if you have gotten the strut rod bushings in and had the car aligned... or are you taking pieces off the 1969 and putting them on the 1968??? :poster_oops:

they fit so good to. this one was one more of those if you can't do it your self you pay out the nose things. they had to flip the A arm mount back a round to bring things in were they belonged. we were not sure but we supect that some one had fliped them to compsate for the worn out bushing. but rest asured the 68 is now sitting as she should and handling like a dream. I drove it around for about a week when we though it might go to a new home. man it runs nice and handles good. you got to love those first years of the 472. odd to call a 6000 lb car snappy. but it is
