What, is someone trying to tell me something...

The Volusia County Fair is this week and both of my ambulances were to be on display. But, the Lifeliner blew the steering gear box minutes before we were heading out and today I'm leaving the hotel heading to the fairgrounds only to RUN OUT OF GAS! What's that all about!!!
I still had a quarter of a tank according to the gauge but obviously it's a big fat liar! The Criterion finally made it and is sitting next to the alligator man. After I parked it he says, "I could use something like that to transport my animals". For the sake of not being crude I will refrain from repeating what I mumbled to him under my breath!!!!

something like that. will yes S&S did make a low top for a lady with SS steel in the back so she could take her dogs to and from shows. that's what he was referring to. not your ambulance. your just on edge because things happen in threes and your up to two. relax you haven even had your hurricane yet this year.

At least I'm not the only one who had a bad day. I was en route to Seattle this morning to go to the Memorial for the Seattle Police Officer who was killed Halloween night and ran out of gas in my Cadillac Fleetwood. Then this afternoon, I locked my keys in the car. Its a good thing I work for a towing company!

Richard, of course the Criterion made it. After all....it's a Criterion!

20 days until I get to see mine. Can't wait! Tick, tock, tick, tock,.......

Ed.. I believe that it was a 1967 Miller Meteor that had the stainless steel interior for transporting the Cairn Terrier breeder. I had pictures of that car at one time, but have since misplaced them.

Oh great Ed, comes in three and I'm on number two. You're not helping here!

Richard,

If you go back next year, have a stuffed alligator on your cot; head on the pillow, all strapped in, with an oxygen mask over his face. Then, the only comeback you'll need for the alligator man will be to open the back door.

The dashboard design indicates this is a 1968.

relax you haven even had your hurricane yet this year.

Spoke too soon Ed, I guess this will be the third thing to go wrong. There is a tropical storm heading north into the Gulf of Mexico with possibilities of coming our way late next week.

Oh the joys of living in Florida and pretty sure my Sam's Club garages will not survive a hurricane. If I could only retire in Michigan.

Bet no one noticed that it also has vani shades!!! :D
