What Are The Chances?

Near the end of the day at the Lead East Car Show, we were sitting in a small group chatting with Paul Vickery and Roy Garretson and a gentleman approched and asks "who owns the '68 Pontiac ambulance?" They all point to me and I told him it was mine. He then tells me that he has something to show me. I am wondering what it is, so I stand up and walk a few feet with him, wondering, what is going on? He parked a 1968 Bonneville four door hard top, right next to my 1968 and they are exactly the same color! So, he was all excited, I thought it was really cool and we had a nice conversation. So, I will ask you again, what are the chances?

Very nice car(s), I believe that was a standard color for that year of Pontiacs. I remember a friend of mine had one the exact same, same car while we were in High school. His dad was the Pontiac dealer, he still has a 65, or 66 completion orange GTO, with all the advertisement that went with it. Something about a tiger, or tiger in your tank, and the Grrrr.!:) Good times fro shurrre!

This color is a standard 1968 GM color, for sure. Ironically, this is not the original color of my ambulance. This color is one of the reasons I fell in love with it, but the original color, a pastel green is also gorgeous, I will one day have some deciding to do.

I hope its soon!:)

one does see the strangest things at a car show. makes you wander. of the thousand produced and have two of them take the different paths to end up at the same spot.
