My copy of the Weller Brothers book arrived today, and yesterday my Miller Meteor book arrived. Between the two, I will have lots of reading to do. Thanks to Walt, Tom, & Roger for collaborating on these two great Professional Car books... If we can find enough Pinner Coach pictures, possibly there might be enough material for a book on that Marque ...

thanks for your comments and photos

Paul,

Thanks for your comments and photos of the two books. We hope both will be purchased by professional car people. Walt and I were pleased the way the Weller Brothers book came out and Tom's Miller-Meteor book is a treasure as well.

Got my Weller book today and must say that I am impressed with the variety of the chassis shown and the interesting vehicles they built. Great stuff. McCall & White are to be commended for collecting these images and thanked for producing this book.

As for the Miller-Meteor book, it may just be the professional car book of the decade. With so many new pictures and so much in-depth behind the scenes information there's no doubt that this is the definitive book on Miller-Meteor.

These guys (McCall and McPherson) are really doing the hobby a service by producing such highly detailed books and recording so much previously undocumented automotive history.

I'm definately planning on ordering a copy of the Weller book. A friend of miine used to work at the Coulter Funeral Homes in Tennessee, where the ambulance on the cover came from.
