Martin, I hope you watch the rest of the movie, too. As Rick said, it really is a good story. And it's true.
I was fortunate to meet a lot of folks when I was in Huntington who were directly affected by the crash, and I really learned a lot about how severly the town was impacted by the deaths, and how long it took them to recover. For the people in Huntington, making the movie 36 years later was part of their recovery.
I am still friends with one of the folks I met while I was there, who was, until this year, Mayor of Huntington, and had been a Marshall student during that time.
By the way, the shadowy figure driving my M-M ambulance in the photo above is, in fact, me. That was a fun scene to film. You can also see my shadow running around my Travelall ambulance in the crash scene. So put it on to watch my (and Danny's) ambulances, but hopefully you'll watch the whole thing.
