Wayne lights

Today was a good day. I saw several members of the PCS at the local swap meet. Billed as the last big one of the season here. Not that big thoug but I did find some new things to bring home.
Does anyone have any idea what these Wayne lights may have been on? The id plate on them says Guardian. The red sealed beams are about 5 1/2 inches across. The bullet housings are just at 12 inches long from the pointed tip to the front edge of the retainer ring.
The Quaker State Oil electric lamp was a nice item too. Works just fine when I got it home and plugged in.

a good buy

Mike: Ditto Kevins comments. If you look at the recent postings by Bruce B. of his MM Chicago ambulance restoration you can see how they were mounted.

Saw those Wayne lights today too, good deal if you need them, but couldn't pinpoint a vintage and too expensive to have them just set around. Glad somebody ID'ed them. Guy had them at the last Springfield swap too.

Wayne lites

Thanks to all for telling me and showing me what these Guardian Lites are for.
How I missed them at the last swap meet as Todd said I don't know. All this time I thought I saw everything there. For now they will reside in the museum next door. I won't be drilling any new holes in my 61 M-M for lights. Even period correct lights.

I'm glad you bought them Mike. When I had them in my hands saturday morning the seller was hoping someone would buy them for "rat rod tail lights"... eesshhh
