Watch Your Local Habitat Resale Stores!

PCS Elected Director 2021-2024
I stopped in at the Habitat Resale Store in Sioux City, IA today and found around 15-20 real Linoleum roll ends. This stuff would be perfect for a, say 1958 or older ambulance or combo restoration. This Linoleum is still readily available today for commercial flooring, primarily used in medical offices. This particular Habitat store sells it for 25 cents a square foot! That is cheap for real linoleum. This is about the third time that I have seen this stuff in a Habitat store. All 3 times in different stores.

a find, maybe.........

I MIGHT have located some of that Armstrong vinyl that EVERYONE wants... the stuff that was so popular for many years........multi-colored, tile-looking vinyl. Stay tuned.

not as much as hoped for

Well, I have some of that Armstrong vinyl flooring that everyone seems to want, BUT, its only small strips of material, not more that 18" wide.........if anyone can use some, let me know.

I stopped back at the Habitat For Humanity Thrift Store in Sioux City, IA today. I purchased 3 roll-ends of genuine hospital grade linoleum that would be period-correct for an ambulance or combination built back in the '50s or prior. Each roll-end is large enough to do 1 coach. $15 per roll end! Can't beat that price for hospital grade linoleum! I will also probably stop back and buy the grey roll-end(last photo), which is large enough for 2 coaches, as well.

I almost got in a fight with a gal over the red stuff Ed! She and her husband were really studying it while I was on the phone with you. They then moved on to some more generic looking beige stuff and I grabbed it! Of course she liked it more when she discovered that I was buying it. Her husband didn't like it as much as she did anyway!
