Wanted: Lifeliner parts.

Jeremy D. Ledford

PCS Volunteer Chapter President
Got a couple parts specific to the M-M Lifeliner that I don't have in my own M-M parts department that I will be in need of! Both parts are pictured below. First is the header panel for the right #2 door. Same piece on right and left hand side and fits 71-76 model M-M Lifeliner's. Color and surface rust is irrelevant. Along as it can be restored and put back on car. Has about 8 or 9 screws holding it to top of window frame as seen in second photo. and from what I can tell on mine there are no screws coming up from bottom/window channel ether holding it on. Already measured header panel on a 3-way just to see if it would work and it won't. It would take heavy modification to make it work right. Also in need of the glass dome lens from over the cot as well. If anyone has these parts or can find them (especially Ed and Atti, be on look out in your travels!:biker:) please let me know and $$$ amount as well! Thanks!:thankyou2:

Just one? Made me go out in the rain and dig 'em out for a pic. I swear there were only two and they multiplied when left alone in the dark!

Only suitable(?) MM ambulance donor I know of is in a NC yard that is currently closed. Owner will call me sometime before Saturday and go over condition of upper door extensions. He recalls one side being better than other and I don't have a shot of passenger side. Driver side looks rough.

PM your address and I'll drop a lens in mail.

Cabinet door

Atti. When you go over there see if the doors to the interior cabinets are there. I need some hardware so I can replace a pair of missing doors on mine.

so tell me again why do you want to change the top of the door. take that one off slip it threw the bead blaster if it doesn't punch a hole in it it's good to prime and block and put back on. heavy surface rust can be brought back. the self etching primer does a good job of picking up any deep pits. as long as that one does not have any holes now or when you finish blasting it it good. you had best drop down to the farm fleet store or harbor fright and pick up one of there 100 buck pressure blasters. you are going to need it to bring that one back. it will be the best 100 bucks you have ever spent. pick a far corner of your lot put up three sides worth of tarp. lay out a couple 4x8 flooring and blast away. just bring everything in when your done. you can recycle the sand and it's cheaper then sandpaper. a 5 horse compressor will run it fine on a off and on kind of thing
