I need a new heat riser valve for my 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood 75. I have searched online, went to auto parts stores, etc. with NO luck. Mine rattles something terrible and makes alot of noise on acceleration. If you have any sources, please let me know. Thanks!

Remove it, and cut out the butterfly valve. Then weld the shaft in the open position, and reinstall. Don't tell anyone what you have done, and you nor the engine will be any the wiser....
