Urgent Warning to all Members

A very dangerous computer virus is currently circulating, and it is being spread through compromised email addresses belonging to some of our members. They get your email and then send you a notice in the name of someone you know and respect, saying:

When you click on the link, your computer will be compromised, and you will be infected. I have received this from other individuals in the PCS, such as Brady Smith, Jeff Hookway, and Rick Duffy, among others. The first indication that these are malicious emails is that the sender's address doesn't match the name from which they are being sent.

Be careful out there; it's a dangerous world we live in.

I just got an email titled "Invitation Reunion" from Jeffrey Hookway. This is a hoax email intended to infect your computer, and you should not click on the link in the email, but delete it immediately. If you would like to see the exact email, please look at the PDF that I have attached to this thread.​

Just got another today. Seems like this will never stop, because all it takes is for one member to click on the link, and all of your friends and contacts email addresses are compromised.

PCS Members need to look at the address sending the email virus; they are only looking at the name sending the link that contains the virus. This is the latest one.
