moving slowly on the 58. my first experience with a hand built car so it's a lot of just how on either side. but we can now call it a ambulance. thanks to fellow PCS'er I have the washington cot bar Dan S donated to the project in place now and the federal 28 Rick F donated howling up front. I could not resist putting the 21 washington cot I have been saving for a project like this in just to see. we had to adjust the bar after all. but just in case your thinking we are about done we have 5 of these yet to do and the fenders and hood are just roughed out. but we are getting there.

the flooring is really quite a bit darker then the flash makes it look. so the contrast is better. but it is shaping up. not the wow of the original but I could not find any of the red flooring. so we went with the colors of the steering wheel. then the bright red and gray would not have gone with the blue. here is the original with a little scrubbing bubbles clean up. what you don't see are the heat cracks, the base of the battery imprinted in the floor and the cardboard backers shrunk and rotted from the humidity and heat build up. but man Eureka could do a interier.
