Tutwiler Cadillac - Indianapolis Auction

Tom Hoczyk

PCS Past President
A very nice 1952 limo sold yesterday for $6750 plus 10%. An equally nice 1930 Cadillac (had jump seats, not sure it would be called a limo) was stolen for $14,000.

The trend with auctioneers these days seems to be to sell everything "As-Is, Where-Is" and to get nothing running. In some situations it works well(Lambrecht Chev.), and in others it definitely doesn't work(this case). Those 2 cars definitely deserved much better treatment. Nice cars, like these, just look like rough cars when not cleaned up. Rough cars are "Barn Finds" when not cleaned and running. Someone is going to make very good money on those 2 cars.
