Tpc #146

As usual my day was the same old thing, get up, shower, eat breakfast, take my pharmacy of asthma, heart, and pain pills, and see whats on TV for the day.

Then 10:30 came, "yae, its time to get the mail" (pretty sad thats the highlight of my day), and among the junk and a new Galls magazine, there it was ISSUE 146 OF TPC!!

As usual when they arrrive it was opened before I even left the post office and glanced through it. Great issue as usual, I thought. And then a coach stopped me and I had to read it.

It hit a soft spot in my heart and I think I actually shed a tear, for the article submitted by Tony Karsnia. Not many people will know why, but Tony will understand completly.

THANK YOU TONY, THIS ARTICLE MADE MY DAY!!

I will not ruin it for anyone else waiting on the magazine so thats all I am saying!

I also want to thank everyone else involved in a A+++ magazine, I anxiously await this publication more than any other I receive.

John

Sounds like we have a great issue to look forward to receiving !

Touching story for you I guess. Thanks for sharing with us.

Read on,
Darren

Glad to hear that this is a great issue!

I always tend to get mine a few days after everyone else, so I am always careful what I read here about the new issue. I figure I will get mine soon enough.

Mine arrived today! Excellent as usual!

Ditto Brendan's comments-accolades from the West Coast. (ALL) of us are very fortunate to have such a Well Organized PCS, (a VERY Active) Website and a Beyond 1st Class Newsletter (put together by the very top and most respected names in the hobby)... what a bargain! THANKS! MM

I received mine today. Havent read it all yet but I did read the article submitted by Tony. Some guys just seem to be in the right place at the right time. What a great story and find. Glancing thru the magazine, it appears Brady & Walt & their team did another great job. What amazes me is I compare the magazine the PCS puts out with volunteer labor to the magazine put out by another national club I belong to with a paid editor and the PCS publication is far superior (pun intended).

Got mine in on Monday! Another fantastic issue as usual! Read through a couple of the stories already and have toughly enjoyed what I've read so far! Unlike John I didn't get a tear in my eye after reading Tony's story on his 67 M-M but I did get a warm fuzzy feeling inside after reading it! Thanks again to all involved for another fantastic issue!!!:applause:

It is a great issue as usual.
Always is a great newsletter!
Thanks to everyone involved for the work put into our newsletter!

Mine arrived Friday. It is about standard for me to get mine about 3 or 4 days after most everyone else. I kinda like the anticipation though, when everyone else posts that they receive theirs, I know to start checking the mail in the following days.

My copy arrived today, much to my delight! It is another fabulous edition, thanks to Walt McCall, Brady Smith, Gregg D Merksamer and all the rest, great job! I think that The Professional Car is probably the best, or certainly at the top of all of the club publications I have ever seen! We are extremely lucky to have such a fabulous publication and all of the talent, effort and contributions that make the magazine what it is. I am always in awe of it.

There are some very interesting articles and great pictures of interest to me. Obviously, the article written by Rich Litton on New Jersey Eureka ambulances is of special interest. I live near four of the towns mentioned; Paramus, Bogota, Hohokus and Waldwick. Ironically, the only one of these ambulances that I ever saw in service was the 1960 Eureka from Burlington.

I must say that next year's Meet looks very exciting! We have not been to a Meet since 2008 and have never been to Wisconsin. So, if all goes well, hopefully we will be there!

Ours was in the mailbox when I got home. Great as usual. Thank you again to the volunteer staff that puts out this great publication.
