Took my 1960 S/S to its first car show of 2012

I got out my 1960 hearse Saturday to attend a local car show and burn-out competition.

There were a vast variety of cars from the '20s to current. Rod and customs, muscle cars, VWs and my lonely single pro-car.

It was a fund raiser for Sick Kids Hospital. They did raise quite a bit of money for the hospital.

I ended up joining the car club as I will be in the area often as it is a 10 minute drive from where I store my cars to their weekly meet spot.
The club is called: Highway 11 Cruisers Car Club.
Hwy 11 is also known as Yonge Street and is the longest street in the world. It starts at Lake Ontario in Toronto and goes north for 1896 km ! (1171 miles).

P.S. Those older people just sat in the back of the car. I didn't know who they were but I figured they needed a break.

The local fire dept. was 30 feet from the cars incase of any incidents.
There were none.

Darren,
you have me pegged!!! That is a handfull of cool stuff i do dig thanks for posting the pics. It always feel good pulling the toys out and having fun with them. Maybe soon you will be able to get some pics like that from the Hoodlum Hangout. Looking forward to be hanging out together soon.
 
Nice shots! It's always a nice show when you're alone and unique, I guess your S&S was the car that had the highest number of pictures and questions!

You have great taste in cars! The 67 Chevelle is my favorite year of that model, although I am not a big fan of the big rims and lo profile tires on older cars.
Alot of nice pics of rods too, I dig them also and you cant forget the gold Cadillac!!
