Robert was in a parade, Paul & Sandy hosted a meet, Ed is busy selling cars, and us Nort'landers went and found ourselves a parade too!
Yesterday, we had three rigs in the annual East Bethel Booster Day parade (and after the parade, we drove around the block and entered 'em in the car show.) Gene Rafferty was there with his '69 Superior Cadillac 51" Rescuer, Joe & Trudy Klein brought their '72 M-M Volunteer, and we ran Pink Champagne through. Well, I ran Pink Champagne through while Kim stayed on the sidelines to take photos.
Really making our day were two young ladies who were riding on the City of Princeton's float. They came over as we were lining up and asked if they could have their picture taken by one of the ambulances ("those cars are SOOO cool!" they exclaimed.)
Gotta love that!
