Time to retire from the fleet...

All good things must come to an end, and today is bittersweet. I am transferring the ownership of the '77 and '81 S & S from the funeral home to my ownership.
Once that has happened, they cannot be used for commercial purposes anymore, no more running to the crematory or airport...
The good side of that is... PROPER INSURANCE... under commercial insurance, if they were involved in an accident, repair or replacement would be minimal... but once you have the private ownership and secure your classic car insurance - they can be properly covered...

I like the green one.

Thanks Ed, though covered on another thread here somewhere, here is a bit of a photo compilation of where the car has progressed. It has become my favorite...

I like them both, but naturally I'm a little more partial to the '81 since it was in my hands for a spell. That car, like the '77 was a great find. All it needed was a battery and some gas in the carb to start after sitting probably a year or more. Then the several pounds of dirt & dust that came off after a few washings (I had no idea a cobra top could hold so much) revealed it to be the gem we suspected. We had a lot of fun getting that one :D.
