The rain finally stopped.... For now anyway

As most of you I'm sure know by now, the south has ben hit with a lot of storms tornados, and flooding for a couple weeks now, and at least once a week for the past couple months. Well this afternoon here in southern Kentucky, it stopped raining, and the sun came out. I took this opportunity to get the 76 out of her stable, and clean her up a little bit, and get some sunshine before the nex round of rain and storms in a few days. Boy I would love to have just one week streight of nothing but sunshine.

I know what you mean Josh. Other than Saturday for Dwayne's Mini Meet, it has rained here for what seems like over a month straight. I cannot get any parts painted on/from the car to start getting it back together. It is really starting to get frustrating! Supposed to rain clear through Friday here, with possiblity of snow at some point, argh! C'mon, it's May for crying out loud!

Maybe now that your car is all cleaned up, you will decide to keep it.

Don't want no snow thats for sure, yaul keep that white stuff up there in PA and UT. You never know, shes just gorgeous all cleaned up.

Our town was seriously nailed by a sudden flash flood last Tuesday, right around this time. Doors were left open in the fire house b/c they had to leave so fast, lots of stuff floated away. Our Ambulance Supply closet was a total mess, lots of old stuff, totally ruined by sewage and mud. I did salvage a few items from the junk pile.

has been a cool spring. we have been only getting dribbles out of the stuff your getting buckets. I'm going to have to put the sprinkler out. but the good news is the rhubarb has popped out and the first daffodil has bloomed so things will change.
