The "Pregnant Whale"

I was watching “Storage Wars” last night and one of the buyers brought some old fire gear to a fire museum. Within camera view was a ‘50ish red car-based ambulance. The proprietor says they call the ambulance the “Pregnant Whale”. Anyone else see this last night? Anyone know what I’m talking about? Jim
