The Passing of William Clay Ford

I read that William Clay Ford passed away earlier this week. Hopefully his family and staff will be able to find a suitable LINCOLN Hearse for his last ride versus the Henney-Packard his Grandfather.... poor Henry.... had to use, probably because of the lack of available Lincolns in that era circa 1947. MM

The paper said his funeral will be a private family affair,in keeping with his low profile,was it the Lincoln Contenental Mark 11 was his brain child to compete with GM and was killed 2 years later by is brother who also fired Lee Iaccoca,not sure of spelling .sounds as though he was more into his beloved Detroit Lions,than the car biz.R.I.P.
