the marriage of GM and Superior

been playing with the doors on Brendon's 63. discovered a unique marriage of GM stuff and superior we want it this way. as was stated earlier in a different thread they were using the 59 cowl up to 64. which gave then a different side profile then the fleet wood of the year. the CC cars are missing a lower body line between the wheels. here you can see were superior took the GM front door frame added to it front and rear to make up the door. they then extended the window riser and added a tap to the door latch so things would work. they used just enough of the GM door frame to match up with the interior the rest is all superior built. would be nice to have a door of one of the other manufacturers a to see how they did it different. but as for today all we have here is the superior.

just went out and looked at my Superior and noticed the same outlines of the GM door and Superior....I always wondered how they made that all work.
