Thanksgiving plans?

Two of Nedra's cousins, and spouses, are all moving to Phoenix in early December, so we will have almost ALL of her tribe here for Thanksgiving! I've just re=arranged the family room to handle folding tables for 20 people........ but the good part of this is all the good food which will show up!

What plans do any of the rest of you have? Travel? Football games? Pro car outings? "Inquiring minds want to know..............!"

That sounds great ! I hope you enjoy the family and food !

Our Canadian Thanksgiving has come and gone.

Jen will be in Hawaii for Thanksgiving and Black Friday
enjoying the sun, surf and shopping !

To all my US friends... enjoy Thanksgiving and your families !

Darren,
You are like sun lotion. You gotta keep rubbing it in.
Hope you have a great time. We will be expecting pictures
of you on a board.

Columbia restaurant

All the Columbia restaurants have a great deal every Thanksgiving. I go with a group of 10 relatives. For $21.95 you get a full Thanksgiving meal and you'll be out in about an hour. I made reservations weeks ago. This is the second year that we're doing this. The only down side is that you don't have leftovers at home. I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A MEANINGFUL HOLIDAY!!!

To all my U.S. friends, have a great thanksgiving, hoping for you to enjoy, food, and family. The sign of a sucessful meal in my house is the belt gets undone,I exhale, and then I have a nap,as contented as it can get.:893USA-Smilie-thumb

Mike... Just Jen and her friend are going... I get (well, was told) to stay home this time !

You would like to see her friend on a board for sure !!!
(Well, with or without a board, she is a knock-out !)

She called and were boarding the plane in Vancouver earlier tonight.
She should be on the island soon !

I will see what I can do regarding photos,

Niagra Wine
Turkey, Dressing
Mashed Potatoes, Gravy
Candied Sweet Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Scalloped Oysters

Barb will be baking bread and doing the cranberry salad. (Does it seem like she is getting off a little on the light side?)

Nothing here, just hoping my new sewer gets put in by then. It plugged up yesterday and the only fix is pipe replacement. So there goes my 401K. Just when you thought it couldnt get worse.

Kyle

Even if I left today, I wouldn't get there until day 2 or 3 of leftovers !

after stopping in at Ron's Thanksgiving dinner. That menu sounds great !
Ron... Barb is worth it big time. Give her a day to rest.

John

I hope you get that plumbing looked after asap.

Cuddle up to Christie and watch a good scary movie so she holds on tight.

Richard

Wishing I was in Florida for that procar Thanksgiving with you all.
not sure how many old car days we have left here.

I feel for the guys working when they should be off enjoying the day like most others. Hopefully it will be a slow day and you guys can relax and watch TV or catch up on your PCS magazines.

As of now the plan is digging it up and replacing it tomorrow IF all the utility companies get the underground things marked. So far the phone/cable/internet have been here, yaaeee.

Dont need scary movie with Christie, dont want her to have to pee suddenly, since everything is stopped up.

Since they live so far away (65 miles) from everybody else in our "little clan", Brad and his girlfriend Melanie are "hosting" (they are doing all the work)Thanksgiving at our house this year. Should be around 20 or so, extras always welcome, always room for an extra plate or two, if food gets short (I can't even imagine THAT ever happening) we've always got hot dogs.

This year Zachary is going to help us deep fry the turkey, that should be a lot of fun. Dinner around 1400, nap around 1500, to bed at God only knows when. Movies, football, "war stories", jokes, and who knows what else!! Great fun!!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, SO FAR nobody has managed to screw this one up, although I'm sure they're working on it.
