Gregg is the man when it comes to recording the meets in fine detail !
He is a major asset to the PCS.

:applause:

I read his notes in the latest PCS magazine and got a great feel for how the meet went as I was unable to make the meet last summer.

Given that I sent Walt McCall and Brady Smith more than 3,000 Houston photos to choose from for this year's meet issue - careful organization into day, tour and individual entrant folders, plus a re-titling of EVERY JPEG to ID the car, people or subject matter, is the key to keeping that many images manageable - it's inevitable on an annual basis that many photos of promise won't make the final cut. That's why I'm endeavoring to send attendees CDs of photos chronicling their most-memorable moments at the meet (perhaps some will get passed around on holiday cards as well as these forums). The Renstroms were among the early recipients as I took so many nifty photos of them - I hope Ed will still post my shot of him winning the Hard Luck Award as his expression is priceless! The big challenge is that my CD burner has burned a LOT of CDs in PCS service, so it currently fails to function an average of one burn attempt out of ten. It goes without saying I plan to swap it out at the first hint of downtime!

SO WORTH POSTING, ED! Don't you all agree, now that it's up there for everyone to see? As Ed commented that night about the 1986 Hess & Eisenhardt Cadillac 6-door that won him Houston's Hard Luck Award after blowing its head gasket in Alliance, Nebraska 120 miles into the trip to Texas, “We’ve had that car at several meets, and we’ve NOT had that car at several meets. Either we get long distance, best-in-class or best-of-show or we don’t make it!”
