"Thank You's" are in order here...

Just sitting here at the funeral home and remembered I failed to express my appreciation to a few who helped me out big time on my PCS-Flint trip. As some may know I lost a fender skirt and damaged a hubcap in my travels.
So I would like to send out a "SPECIAL THANK YOU" to Danny Ryder for the skirts, LeeAnn as the courier getting them to me, and Jeremy for his hubcap donation. As those who witnessed my Lifeliner with and without the skirt, it looked much better with and could not have been done without these three.

THANKS so much!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::D

You decide.... I also think the chrome pieces on the new skirts can be removed, swapped to the opposite skirt, and matched up pretty close to the the original design.

Yeh, it definately looks better with them on! And you are correct, it shouldn't be difficult to match the trim.

I have one question for you... when you left Flint to head home, did you take the skirts off and put them in the ambulance with you so you didn't loose any more?

There are quite a few people in the PCS that I know of that do just that. They remove their fender skirts, hub caps and even lights for long trips. There are so many stories of pieces of cars and/or equipment being lost along the highway.

I did not and the reason was this: Considering the roads in Flint if anything else were to come off it would have done so in Flint. I think I lost many pounds of weight off the old Lifeliner driving on those roads. :eek:

Driving my Chrysler on the roads of Flint was like riding on a cloud. Possibly it is your suspension, not the roads. By the way, there are a lot of people still waiting for their Conney dogs that were promised but not delivered... :rolleyes:

I was there waiting at Angelo's so where were you guys? I actually consumed 11 coney's while in Flint and at this point if I never ate another one it would be ok!!:eek:

Which Angelo's

Russ

The one and only located on Davison and Franklin. Only saw one mouse this time......kidding. Used to run rig out of Zelley's around the corner and consumed many a meals in this place. The owner came out to see the Lifeliner and brought his kid to the PCS meet at the Holiday Inn. He was hinting at 20 grand for my car but passed. I flipped the lights on and hit the siren when leaving and traffic came to a stand still so, I took advantage of it and merged right out of there.
