Ed's skill and hard work associated with restoring my Criterion paid off with big dividends yesterday. I entered the ambulance in the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Foundation - Emergency Vehicle Show in Stockton (CA), and won both "1st Place", and "Best of Show". Thank you Ed!

"CONGRATULATIONS" Robert on the awards. :smileflag:

your welcome but you have had it well over a year now so the credit still goes to the way your maintaining the car. when I got out there last December it looked just like it did the day you drove it home. so way to go. bet it was the jack that did it.

Well done, Robert!

Now I'm doubly motivated to get going on mine which was, when created, the twin to yours. :specool:

Thanks Doug. When your rig is finished you can drive Code-3 and look and sound like this.

Great job all-around. Was there a mid-'60's Rambler sedan in that parade? And that yellow Seagrave, wow. Heard what sounded like an old Federal coaster near the end, a REAL fire engine siren. Congratz on your prizes.

No Ramblers; however there was a mid 60's Ford Galaxy "Chief's Car", a 65 Mustang, and an early 70's Dodge Dart.
