Stork decals

Does anyone have an ambulance with a stork decal (signifying a baby was born in the rig)? Is there a traditional location to place these decals? Jim

Richard Vyse's Lifeliner has three on it, he had them painted on to reproduce the originals that were in pictures. They were on the front fender in front of the front door. Not sure if they were on both sides or not.

Bob Gosgrove's Nash

Bob had pink and blue storks on the back side doors. I last saw him and the Nash in Daytona in 2004. I then saw the Nash on ebay stating it was an estate sale. Anyone know where this Nash went? I think it was a 1932.

Jim

Here are the storks, position and boy/girl count in pink/blue bags.

Also the hottie who painted them... Missy McCormick.

These are outstanding on the car. Gotta love them and the questions asked about what/why they are there.

Darren

P.S. I took the photo of the storks at the PCS meet in Hudson Ohio during the "ProCar Heaven in 2011" meet.
I was sent the other photo of the hottie.

Still waiting for the OTHER photo of her that was BANNED from the site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember that P&L Custom Vehicles up in New Jersey had some made up in their vinyl/graphics shop when we toured their facilty during the Int'l Meet in Mt. Laurel. May can check with them.

I do not even own an ambulance but I bought a sticker anyways.

I think they are a neat thing. I got the girl version in pink.

This sticker is quite large at 7" tall.

From the ebay address above.

Not stork Decals, but a crew in Jackson, MS, in 1997 tried to add a little humor to their truck. Guess who didn't think it was funny?

I remember seeing these as a kid at Pitt Memorial Hospital on rigs that were dropping off. I don't know how I could forget them being a child then and they made me look at any ambulance we crossed paths with after. lol

I do think that 7 inches tall would be a tad gaudy on a car based unit though. I also noticed that I could not find a "pair" that could be made to face forward on each side of a unit.

Problem Solved. Lol Will print some 5 inch wide samples over the next couple of days. ;)

They are done! I feel they came out a little large but I am very happy with their look on my unit. I have them printed in pairs, so that both sides fly the same way.

Yes, the number on Wellsboro is correct, as verified today. ;)

I have plenty of extras and can make more very easily if I run out.

They look very nice. I remember the ones that we had on our ambulance as being a bit smaller, probably about 3" in length. I don't remember if they were painted on, or they were decals. Memories fade after 40 years.. Please let us know how much they will cost per pair of a right and a left.. thanks

You should post a price per pair so we can order them.

I will do this the easy way.

Send me a self addressed stamped envelope and I will send a pair to anyone that wants them, NO CHARGE. However, you will have to write your PCS membership number on the inside flap of the envelope you send along with boy or girl pair that you wish to have.

Why pay for vinyl that I would normally scrap out as extra on a print run? :D

This offer will last as long as I have them printed and ready. ;)

PM me for the send to address.
